We never have access to your assets, passwords, or 12/24-word backup phrase. If you lose your recovery phrase, you will permanently lose access to your cryptocurrency. There is no “forgot password” or account recovery service.

Data privacy

This demo does not use cookies, local storage, or tracking mechanisms. No keystrokes are logged. In a real deployment, Jaxx Liberty would never transmit your private keys or recovery phrase over the internet; all sensitive operations are performed locally on your device.

Open source & audits

Jaxx Liberty is built on open-source principles, and its code has been audited by third-party security firms. However, no software is completely free of risk. Always download from official sources and verify checksums when possible.

No recovery

Unlike custodial exchanges, Jaxx Liberty does not have a “reset password” option. Your password only unlocks the local encrypted wallet file. If you forget it, you must restore from your recovery phrase. If you lose the recovery phrase, your funds are lost forever. This is the nature of self-custody.

Compliance with sanctions

By using this wallet, you confirm that you are not located in a jurisdiction subject to comprehensive sanctions, and you will not use Jaxx Liberty for money laundering, terrorist financing, or any illegal activity. We reserve the right to restrict access to certain regions if required by law, though as a non-custodial wallet we cannot technically block transactions.
